…how time can fly so fast? Doesn’t feel so long since I last posted but it really has been. What’s been going on lately… well, job search is moving along. I have an application I’m waiting on and a few other positions I have my eye on so crossing fingers for those.

I’ve been programming again, keeping things fresh in my mind as much as possible (I might upload some to this site when I get around to a new page update). It was nice to get into it again really. Strange as it may seem, I do really enjoy building something up from code and having it work, and work efficiently. It’s hard to explain but you just know when you nail a bit of code.

Last week, I went out for a meal with my family (it was my dad’s birthday). On the way back to the car, something weird happened. I hear my name being called behind me, by several people. I turn around to see it coming from a group of drunken idiots outside a bar. I scanned the faces of them and didn’t recognise a single one… not one. I just shrugged it off and carried on back to the car. The way they were shouting wasn’t in a friendly manner. I can only assume it was someone from my high school I didn’t recognise… I guess I was more memorable than they were My high school was full of idiots so it’s likely… nice to see how far they have come… That part of my life I rather leave behind me, and this incident is a reminder that it is a good choice.

Finally, someone who is supposedly a friend did something recently that I can only call disgraceful, showing no respect to both another friend involved and myself. I’m not sure it is something I can forgive. He seems to expect things to be normal… but at the moment I’m just not feeling it. I don’t know a full explanation… so I just can’t.
